I want to commission a painting?

I have a very selective process when agreeing to a commission. Although my paintings begin with a theme, core concept, palette or technique, the paintings are created intuitively and focused over time. Collectors interested in commissioning a work need to understand that I do not replicate paintings. We can discuss size, colors, inspiration, needs, and techniques you are interested in including heavily textured or lots of drips, using other paintings as inspiration. If interested in starting a conversation, email HERE. After discussion and deciding to work together, a 50% deposit will be required to begin work. Redin does not accept checks.

How are paintings shipped?

Maintaining the archival quality of the paintings is important so every painting is wrapped in a layer of glassine paper first before any other packaging. All paintings are tracked, insured, and require signature confirmation upon delivery. Shipping within the continental United States is included in the painting price. International collectors should contact Redin Winter for a shipping quote before purchasing. All paintings include a certificate of authenticity and personal note from Redin Winter in their package.

What is your return policy?

Please make sure to inspect your box and painting for any shipping damage immediately. Contact Redin Winter if you have any concerns about your painting. If you are unsatisfied with the painting, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. Do not throw away original packaging until you are satisfied with your purchase. Again, we are here to answer any questions you may have for an artwork as we want you to be fully satisfied with your choice before we ship the painting to you. Shipping costs on paintings can be high. Color variation can occur so if additional images are needed just let us know. Any returned painting needs authorization first and will also require specific return shipping requirements such as tracking and insurance. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. A refund minus original shipping cost will be sent after the painting is received and inspected.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans can be set up on any original art paintings. Payment plans can be for three to eight months in duration depending on collector’s needs. There is no interest on the payment plan; however payments are non-refundable. To set up a payment plan, simply contact us with the name of the painting you would like to put on a payment plan and your postal/zip code. Every month an invoice will be sent to you via a secure payment processing center for the amount due. When the first payment is received, the painting will be taken off the market and held for the buyer. Once the painting is paid off in full, we will ship the painting to you. It is a very easy process, if you have any questions contact us.

Do you work with a gallery? Are you open to collaborations?

Redin Winter has been in exhibitions in the last year and she is always excited to work with galleries. She is also open to exploring collaborations and future art installations. Contact Redin if you are interested in representing her artwork, exhibition possibilities or collaborative projects.

Do you sell prints of your work?

While Redin maintains all rights to make prints of original paintings, she does not offer wall prints of her original works at this time. As an artist that uses textures as part of her paintings, the artworks in her opinion lose depth in reproduction form. If you are looking for a more accessible financial way to own an original work, Redin makes small pieces at reasonable rates and offers payment plans on original paintings.
