Aural Impulse - Abstract Gestural Art Series

A gestural abstraction series that uses music as inspiration in both narrative and exploration. Each painting is created over a long period of time listening to the same song on repeat during the creation process. Beyond having music playing during the creative process, each painting is a digestion of the music from color choices to application. Perhaps a dance on canvas or a subliminal connection to the story itself, these paintings infuse the aural impulse to create within the rhythm of the abstracted vision.
